Museum-quality reproduction of a circa 1870-s Oglala Lakota german silver pectoral / cross with rocker engraved decoration, with two dragonfly and domed naja pendants suspended below. Artificially aged to look and feel like a real old artefact from the Old days.

Metacollcection: Plains
Collection: Central Plains
Insignia type: Pectoral
☩ A cross (pectoral) of German silver was worn by Lakota and Cheyenne headmen as a symbol of the holy Four Directions, strenthening the wearer's power by the blessing of the Sacred Persons-the keepers of those Four Directions.
☩ Like a number of other items from my Plains Indian collection, where I pick up the best specimens of Indian Warrior art and do not have much desire to part with them, «Plains Pectoral SKU 4009.08.01» is not intended for sale and if occasionally someone be interested to buy it, I will be ready to sell only at a price indicated here as a fair minimum for such a splendid work.
Funny thing is that this year 252 coldfishes apathetically glanced at this namerican beauty «Plains Pectoral», and none of them did deign to vote, share, bookmark, make a pin or submit any comment/feedback. Way to go!'
