This is the type of article worn by warriors on the Southern Plains as seen in historic photographs and pictographs. Two inch hairpipes from Mother-of-Pearl and antique blue Padre beads strung to harness leather with brain-tanned buckskin thongs braided at the sides.

Attached at the bottom of the breastplate is a gorget with three najas. The gorget is made of German (nickel) silver in a long cloud shape with scalloped bottom edge. The gorget has rocker engraving on the recto depicting 4-directions motif. The piece is given an overall aged appearance.

Funny thing is that this year 334 coldfishes apathetically glanced at this namerican beauty «Breastplate with Gorget (replica)», and none of them did deign to vote, share, bookmark, make a pin or submit any comment/feedback. Way to go!'
