The deer leather wrist strap is «lazy-stitched» hand beaded using old color seed beads and is trimmed with heavy handcut leather fringing. The handle is elk antler decorated with trade brass tacks. All parts have been artificially aged to give the item a special character as to look and feel like a real old artifact from the Buffalo days.

☩ Native American artist Angie and her husband Joe (both of Cherokee Indian descent), are known for their authentic museum quality reproduction artifacts. They are proud of their Cherokee Indian heritage and craft their Indian reproduction artifacts in the traditional ways of the ancestors of the specific tribe represented. Joe and Angie add an extraordinarily authentic touch of age appearance to their creations with an «effects method» which they specifically developed. They use quality materials and consciously use only non-endangered species for the natural portions of their creations.
☩ Like a number of other items from my Plains Indian collection, where I gather only the best specimens of Indian Warrior art and do not have much desire to part with them, «Native American Lakota style Riding Horse Quirt SKU 4046.07.01» is not intended for sale and if occasionally someone be interested to buy it, I will be ready to sell only at a price indicated here as a fair minimum for such a fabulous work.
